KineticArchitecture Dance Theatre, a not-for-profit, (501c3), focuses on the development and presentation of new work that is artistically progressive and socially relevant in nature.  The goal is to invigorate audiences with the power inherent in Dance Theatre.  The urge to move is both primal and universal.  It can serve as common ground for physical poetry that inspires true self acceptance along with respect and understanding of all people.  Ours is a mission which strives to transcend and transform.


Arrie Fae Bronson-Davidson

Arrie Fae Bronson-Davidson is believed to be the reincarnation of Ruth St. Denis. She is a Transgender Performance Artist, Choreographer,  Host/Comedienne, Writer and Feminist Faerie advocate for social evolution. Arrie has studied on scholarship at Pennsylvania Ballet, Gus Giordano Jazz/Chicago, and received her mentorship in Kurt Jooss/Tanztheater under Diana Moore. She received an MFA in Dance and Composition from Sam Houston State University, and a BSc in Dance, Anatomy and Kinesiology from Texas Tech University. Major performance credits include Seán Curran Company, Ballet Preljocaj’s “Paysage apres la bataille" at The Joyce, Justin Bond’s House of Whimsy at The Kitchen, The International New York Fringe, HotFest at Dixon Place, and Philly Fringe. Arrie is regularly produced at The Box NYC, Bizarre Bushwick, and Coney Island USA. She teaches and choreographs throughout the country, has served on the Faculty of Houston Ballet Academy and as Director of Education for New York City Ballet. She is a 2015 CUNY Dance Initiative recipient and a 2016 Jerome Robbins Foundation Artist In Residence Grant at Dixon Place. 

Meghann Bronson-Davidson

Meghann Bronson-Davidson is a dancer, performance artist, and wellness practitioner. She received an MFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, and a BFA in Dance and Dance Science from York University. Major performance highlights include KineticArchitecture Dance Theatre/Bryant Park Dance Festival, New York International Fringe Festival, The 92Y Harkness Dance Festival, HOTFest at Dixon Place, and Rochester Fringe Festival, as well as PULP/Radio City Music Hall, Michael Clark’s residency/Whitney Museum of American Art 2012 Biennial, and BodyStories Teresa Fellion Dance/Jazz at Lincoln Center. Meg is regularly produced at The Box NYC, The Slipper Room, House of YES, and Coney Island USA. She is also certified in C-I Training (Conditioning With Imagery), created by Donna Krasnow, which incorporates conditioning exercises with visualization and imagery work for neuromuscular re-patterning and mind-body integration. In her daily life, Meg has dedicated herself to health and wellness, and is currently the assistant manager at a bustling Physical Therapy clinic.

Dara Swisher

Dara Swisher, originally from Reading, PA, began dancing at age 3. She has forged a successful and passionate life as a dance artist, physical actor, improviser, and creator. She received a BA with Honors in Dance Performance and Teaching/ Choreography from Mercyhurst College and an MFA in Choreography from Jacksonville University. Dara has been performing in NYC since 2013 and her most recent credits include: the immersive theatre experience Play/Date, EndTimes Productions' The Ded Sullivan Show, and choreographing for August Strindberg Rep's Kristina. Dara is currently performing in the immersive escape experience Paradiso: Chapter 1 and is a member of bodypainter Trina Merry's core team of performers and models. Dara joined KineticArchitecture Dance Theatre in 2014 and feels blessed to be a member of such a vibrant, eccentric, and joyful company. 

Brittany Posas

Brittany Posas grew up in the Raleigh/Chapel Hill area of North Carolina but immigrated to the United States from Costa Rica. Her youth consisted of mostly competitive dance, focusing on jazz and contemporary movement at the Dance Attic and then made a drastic switch to concert and modern dance upon entering college. Ms. Posas has a degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and went on to complete a professional division program for modern dance at the prestigious Ailey School. As a scholarship student at the American Dance Festival, Ms. Posas had the opportunity to perform work by Merce Cunningham, set by Andrea Weber. She has also had the pleasure of working with such artists as Daniel Gwirtzman, Mary John Frank and Martha Nichols. Ms. Posas joined KineticArchitecture Dance Theatre during their 2014/2015 season.

Chiu Yi Chiang

Chiu Yi was born in Taoyuan, Taiwan and has been dancing since the age of 7. She received her Bachelor Degree from Taipei National University Of The Arts. Chiu Yi has worked with Focus Dance Company, Xavier Le Roy at the 2016 Taipei Biennial, and was invited to attend WDAS ChoreLab in Singapore. After traveling through EU and Singapore, she is now in New York to explore every possibility in dance.

Tara Lynn Steele

Tara Lynn Steele was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia. She began dancing at the age of 2, because she wanted to be just like her big sissy. She first attended Pebblebrook’s CCCEPA performing arts high school before, she graduated magna cum laude, with a double major in Dance and Musical Theatre and a minor in Telecommunications and Film, from The University of Alabama. (Roll Tide!) Some highlights of recent works in and outside of NYC include: Spamalot at Arkansas Repertory Theatre, Seussical at Cape Fear Regional Theatre, Harbored at Brookfield Place Manhattan, Legally Blonde on Norwegian Cruise Line, and Here I sit Brokenhearted at Theatre Row in NYC. Most recently Tara Lynn traveled to Shanghai, China to teach and choreograph for University students through Inspiration Morn. Tara Lynn lives by the philosophy stated by Carl Sandburg, “Only for those who are willing to fail, are the dangers and splendors of life.”

Ae Andreas

Ae Andreas is a trans non-binary Dance/ Theater maker based in NYC. They mostly perform, choreograph, devise, or direct new live works. They are a classically trained and cross-trained dancer and have worked with various film, theater and/or dance professionals such as David Gordon, Valda Setterfield, The Pick Up Company, Chalasa Modern Dance, The Connecticut Ballet, Juri Onuki, Matthew Dillon Cohen, Dan Safer, Sam Pinkelton, Tony Torn, Julie Atlas Muz, Hope Davis, Kelly Bartnik, etc. Ae is a lead performer in the acclaimed experimental dance-theater company Witness Relocation and also performs as a drag king under the pseudonym God Complex. They also sometimes makes dance theater incognito under the company name Tender Loin Movement— most recently Tender Loin presented a workshop of Breather, a loose adaptation of Anne Carson’s Autobiography of Red, at the New Ohio Theater. Ae graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts' Playwrights Horizons Theater School in 2014 with a BFA in Drama. Ae is now a faculty member at NYU Tisch's PHTS and is a registered, 500 hour certified Yoga Teacher through Yogaworks.
